22nd Chapter of Northwest Alumni commemorated
The Northwest Alumni Association commemorated the addition of its 22nd chapter, the Theater Alumni and Friends Chapter, with a social gathering at Northwest-Kansas City in Gladstone earlier this month.
Ten Northwest alumni and friends attended the event where Bob Machovsky, Northwest's director of alumni relations and annual giving, presented the group with a chapter banner. The vision of the chapter and idea to organize came from recent visits back to the Northwest campus. In addition to engaging with Northwest's alumni of university theatre, the chapter goals include finding ways to mentor current Northwest Theatre students and beginning fundraising for a chapter scholarship.
